Journey Within Program Options
We are excited to share that Heart of a Child Ministries is officially launching a new school program – available for the 2026-2027 school year.
This teacher-led program features a series of nine posters—one for each month of pregnancy—highlighting powerful images and fascinating fetal facts. Each month, teachers introduce a new month of fetal development utilizing science-based power points filled with fetal facts, ultrasound clips, and fascinating videos helping students gain a deeper understanding of the miracle of life from conception to birth.
For public schools, the program is science-based only. For faith-based schools, there is a Scripture-based reflection component available. Schools can purchase the science-based posters only or the full program. See below for more information.

OPTION 1:
Journey Within Fetal Development Program – Posters Only – $275

– Set of 9 posters, one for each month of pregnancy to put up in the classroom or Pregnancy Help Organization and use for education.

OPTION 2: Journey Within Fetal Development Program – PowerPoint presentations – $1,500
Includes:
– Set of 9 posters, one for each month of pregnancy
– Corresponding Power point presentations that go with each poster – includes fetal development facts and photos, corresponding ultrasound clips, and informational videos reviewed and approved by our medical panel
– Teacher’s Spiral-bound curriculum book
– Soft-cover fetal development booklets for 50 students (additional booklets can be purchased separately)
– Supplemental spiritual education component for faith-based schools and clients
– Optional quizzes for each month
– 1 first trimester set of fetal models and 1 second/third trimester set of fetal models

Elements of Full “Journey Within” Curriculum
9 Fetal Development Posters
A series of nine science-based posters, one for each month of pregnancy, featuring licensed medical images and verified information from sources such as the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic. Teachers can display one each month to guide learning throughout the school year.
9 PowerPoint Presentations
Each monthly poster is paired with a PowerPoint that includes matching photos, real ultrasound clips, educational videos and quick, memorable facts. Every presentation ends with discussion questions to help students reflect and retain what they learn.
9 Optional Spiritual Reflections for Faith-based Schools (these are not included in public school curriculum program).
It is recommended that the teachers present these alongside the science-based fetal development slides and posters in one class period or that the science teacher present the fetal development portion, while the theology teacher present the faith-based reflections. You decide what works best for your school.
9 Assessment Learning Tools
In order to assess learning, we provide 9 quizzes with each month of fetal development information. This is an optional part of the program for you to utilize if you want to include testing for your students.
Spiral-bound Curriculum book for teachers
This is a teacher friendly book developed BY teachers, FOR teachers. It has everything you need to teach solid science-based fetal development information and share the corresponding power point slides and videos with ease. Whether you know nothing, a little bit, or a lot about fetal development, this program can be picked up by any teacher and taught with confidence. For faith-based schools, this book also includes the information needed to address surrounding issues (if you choose). There is the latest information on abortion, adoption, foster care, birthing and abstinence utilizing logic, reasoning, Scripture and Church teaching.
9 Fetal Development Booklets
The program comes with 50 fetal development booklets Every student receives a booklet summarizing the facts, images, and lessons from the posters and PowerPoints, serving as a lasting educational resource. More booklets can be purchased through our store.

Each school receives two sets of fetal models—one for the first trimester and one for the second/third trimesters – allowing students to see and hold life-sized, weighted models of a baby in the womb.
Live Presentation (Optional)
You may host a live presentation alongside the program. This engaging event includes fetal development facts, a live ultrasound on the big screen, and optional speakers.
